Mbokam Estate is a 2.5-hectare farm and wet mill owned by Arthur and Josephine Mbogo in Embu County, Kenya. First established in the 1950s, the estate's 6,500 SL28 trees are intercropped with avocado, banana, macadamia, and native shade trees. No chemical fertiliser is used on their farm; instead, manure from their cattle is composted and supplemented by a bio-digester that converts agricultural waste into organise fertiliser. 

Situated at 1,700 metres above sea level, the estate processes its coffee entirely on-site; a significant investment in infrastructure for a farm of this scale, and a reflection of Arthur and Josephine's commitment to quality at every stage of the cultivation and production process. 

In the cup, this coffee tastes like pink grapefruit and red currant, with a brown sugar-like sweetness.
